It took a little longer than I expected, but only just a little. First and foremost, I'm going to have to say that I didn't "see" anything. When I was reading through reviews before I bought my bottle, that's what I wanted to know; whether or not I would hallucinate. Maybe I didn't drink enough or maybe I didn't drink it fast enough. Me and two other friends had about 4 or 5 shots each and there's some left over that I'm going to drink soon. It has a VERY strong taste and smell. We were drinking it straight, no mixing. As for the effects, it was definately a different kind of buzz. It's like you're in a better state of mind than you normally are when drinking. I liked it. All I got to say, is I tried it once, and have since gone through two bottles in one year. It's wonderful. I find that Absinthe mixes well with Coke, classic or vanilla. I intend to get the Absinthe Bitter in the spring time. I would recommend this to any one who enjoys fine liquor and likes the "extra" kick that the wormwood brings to the table."<br />
