Hi, I waited up to just over two weeks for my bottle of The Green Fairy......:)... and I was so happy and ecstactic when it turned up. I was delighted with the bottle the absinthe came in. And I cannot wait til New Years Eve to try it.
I think I will have to try it tomorrow night... and leave another review. lol...
Well, if I can wait, so can everyone else. and you really do appreciate the trouble La Boheme goes to, with their packaging and presentation of their bottles.
Thankyou so much again.... I cannot wait to buy more things off you in the new year...
Extremely satisfied with the shipping of this product. I was expecting a very long delay due to the distance but this package didn't arrive in 3 days as the site says to allow, it arrived in only 2! I was surprised at the speedy delivery. It was also packed superbly as well. As many other have said, you could've thrown it down a flight of stairs and it still would've been fine.
I'm yet to taste the absinthe, but when I do I'll leave a review about that as well. All I can say is that it looks extremely genuine and the glass and spoon are beautiful.
Thanks! :)
This Absinthe was ok, you need to add sugar, water and some orange juice, then it is much better tasting. Do Not drink straight. The reviewers that only rated it one or two stars, obviously did not add anything but water. Also, for you people that wanted to try it, should have ordered the smaller bottle. I do enjoy the Original Absinthe much better. Thanks!! Brian S. U.S.A.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. Made from grain alcohol and concentrated herbal additives, and 10% tujone by concentration (czech law). There is nothing redeemable about this absinthe at all. It does not turn milky white when water is added (louching), it just gets lighter green, and it is harsh going down and heavily licorice flavoured. This stuff is for sale in any TESCO supermarket in Prague, and is the worst stuff I've ever forced down. Nothing subtle or beautiful about it at all or the after effects, in fact, one of the only absinthes that simply gave me a blackout. Stick with swiss, french and "king' brands of czech absinthe in that order. Avoid."
