La Boheme accepts orders from any country in the world. All deliveries must be signed for.
If no-one is available to accept delivery, a card will be left. Customers should call to
arrange a further delivery time.
Complete the order form with full details, including your name and address, the
recipient's name and address and your credit card details. Payment is required before
despatch. Please note than your credit card details will be sent via secure server system:
High-grade Encryption (AES-256 256 bit).
Multiple orders to separate addresses must be ordered on a separate order form for each
address. We cannot take any responsibility for incorrect orders or non-delivery due to
incorrect information being provided. In the event of an incorrect address or the non
authorisation of payment, we will endeavour to contact the customer.
If you prefer not to send your card details via the internet, you should print out our
Invoice and fax it to: +1-815-331-5151. La Boheme accepts Credit Cards and you can
also send us a bank draft or money order. These can easily be obtained from your local
bank or post office. Once we receive your money order or bank draft, processing of your
absinthe order is begun and your order would ship out soon afterwards. Please make draft
payable to La Boheme UK Ltd. and enclose our printed Shop Order.
Our complaints handling policy
We will deal with complaints effectively. We will be fair and handle your complaint
confidentially. Our complaints system is easy to use and available on line. You will
receive an acknowledgement within 5 working days and we will provide a time scale for
resolving the dispute and keep you notified of progress.
We cannot accept responsibility for goods correctly shipped but not received by the customer
(i.e. lost in post), but we will at our discretion replace lost items if the customer has correctly
completed and returned to us, a compensation claim for the courier.
Please note we do not despatch any parcels on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. All of
our delivery services require a signature as proof of delivery in all cases regardless of
cost! Standard delivery time is usually 10 business days to the USA, Australia and Asia.
For UK and European deliveries it is about 5 business days.
One Shipment When Your Complete Order Is Ready
Unless other instructions are given, we will wait until we have all the items in your order before shipping any of them. For example, if you order one item that is in stock another that is temporarily backordered, we will ship both to you together when both items become available. Typically, items are back in stock within 3-5 business days, so nearly all of our packages ship very quickly.
Shipping And Handling
Goods will be shipped once payment has been validated. All shipping is calculated based on
the volume and weight of the product and the country it is being delivered to. The cost of
the item (for insurance) is also taken into consideration. For this reason we cannot list
a definite price costing of the delivery charges. This is calculated and displayed for you
From the Currencies drop down menu on the very up right side of the side, you have the option to view
the price of all products in a currency that you might be more familiar with. However, you must be fully
aware that all products sold on this site are invoiced in UK currency only. All other currencies appearing
on Absinthe Original are only indicative and the prices in other currencies you will see on our site should
not be considered as the values you will see printed as Absinthe Original charge on your monthly bank
statement. If the currency of the country you live is not pound sterling, what you will see printed on your
credit card statement would be the equivalent between pound sterling and your currency, based on the currency
exchange rates of your credit card company at the time of the transaction.
Damaged in Transit
Upon receipt of your delivery, please check to make sure the packaging has no visible
signs of damage. If you feel that it has experienced a rough ride then please contact us stating the nature of
the problem, your name, e-mail address and postal code. In order for us to carry out any
investigations with our couriers and possibly to issue a refund, please contact us within
48 hours of receiving your delivery. We advise you to retain all packaging for possible
inspection. All packages are insured for full value.
You may return unwanted goods within 7 days for a refund, provided that the product has
been unopened and unused. However, please note, that other than for faulty goods, you will
have to pay the cost of returning the goods. Your money will be returned within 30 days.
Shipping charges will not be refunded in all cases. Refunds will be made with the same method of payment as the original order. Credit card refunds will only be made to the same card used for the original purchase. Please contact our Sales Department
stating the reason for return and provide a day time telephone number.
